To teach girls right from the start that their hair is beautiful as is with a fun, easy to read, story for bed time or short day time activity. This book is designed for children 4 to 8.
The story of Jamie Loves Her Natural Hair was inspired by news reports of children being told that their natural hair was "inappropriate" for school.
As a natural hair enthusiast, Ariane Roberts was appalled by these reports and decided that it was time to do something about it. She authored Jamie Loves Her Natural Hair to encourage curly girls to love their hair and themselves.
